The membership in Norrsken house includes, but is not limited to:
i. Access to the Norrsken community, and network of entrepreneurs focusing on solving global Issues,
ii. Admission to seminars and events with entrepreneurial topics related to global issues. The activities will occur on an ongoing basis and will be announced to Members on the member Webpage,
iii. Access to the premises of Norrsken House 24 hours/day 365 days/year, coffee and refreshments offered in the Norrsken House kitchen, printing to a reasonable limit, access to bookable meeting rooms and access to Norrsken House’s database of contract templates, and other documentation that may be useful for start-up businesses.
The services listed under i-iii above are collectively or in part referred to as “Services”.
By signing this Membership Agreement, the Member accepts that all of its agents, guests, or any other persons affiliated with the Member, will use the Services in accordance with the terms of use in Appendix I (the “TOU”) and Norrsken’s house rules set forth in Appendix II (the “House Rules”). The TOU and the House Rules may be revised by Norrsken from time to time and will be published on the Norrsken House website.
The Member understands that failure to comply with the TOU or the House Rules may lead to termination of the Agreement.
Acceptance and modifications
Norrsken reserves the right to amend the TOU and the House Rules without prior notice, and the Member acknowledges that continued use of Services is understood as explicit acceptance of the from time to time prevailing TOU and House Rules.
Pricing, discounts and payments The membership and service fee shall be paid in accordance with the payment instructions found on the webpage.
Discounts
All potential members may apply for a discounted membership and service fee. The application is evaluated by the Norrsken team on a set of variables, e.g. the technical solution, the problem that is being solved, the integration of impact in the core business model, etc.
General obligations of the Member
The Member shares Norrsken’s vision to create a dynamic and inspiring working and meeting space dedicated to entrepreneurs who want to solve global issues. Thus, the Member acknowledges the importance of treating other members, any of their colleagues and guests as well as employees, agents and partners of Norrsken and others with respect. Also, the Member will keep a clean and organized workspace, free of none workspace related items, and at all times conduct its business in a manner that allows other members to work productively, and reach their full creative potential.
Environmental policy and commitment
The Member shares Norrsken’s commitment to an environmentally sustainable business model. Thus, the Member will use all Services in an environmentally conscious manner, which includes reducing unnecessary electricity consumption, minimizing waste and using digital formats over printing whenever possible.
When using the Services, the Member undertakes to:
i. not restrict, constrain or inhibit any other member from using the Services;
ii. avoid all behavior which may be seen as harassment or discrimination, including any threatening or humanly degrading behavior, and discrimination (e.g. due to gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, or religious belief);
iii. not directly or indirectly take, copy or use any information or intellectual property belonging to other members or any of their guests, including without limitation business names, trademarks, service marks, logos or other intellectual property;
iv. not perform any activity that is reasonably likely to be disruptive, damaging or dangerous to Norrsken, Norrsken’s employees, agents, partners or affiliates, other members, any guests or any other third parties;
v. not take, copy or use for any purpose the name “Norrsken” or any of Norrsken’s other business names, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade dress, other identifiers or other intellectual property or modified or altered versions of the same, or take, copy or use for any purpose any pictures or illustrations of any portion of any Norrsken properties, without prior consent from Norrsken;
vi. not harvest or otherwise collect information about other members, including email addresses or any personal data without the authorization or consent of such member;
vii. not use the Services in connection with junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited message (commercial or non-commercial);
viii. not distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, defamatory, obscene or unlawful material or information on or through the Norrsken House servers or bandwidth;
ix. not upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain software, code or other material protected by intellectual property laws, and not use material or information made available through the Services in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party;
x. not upload files that contain viruses which may damage the operation of computers or property of third parties;
xi. not use any illegal substances; and
xii. not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by the TOU, the House Rules or in any other way deviates from Norrsken’s vision to create a dynamic, creative and environmentally conscious workspace.
Termination
Norrsken may terminate the Agreement by giving the Member one (1) month notice. If the Member fails, or if Norrsken has reasonable grounds to suspect that the Member has failed to comply with any of the provisions of the Agreement, Norrsken may restrict the Member’s access to the Services and/or terminate the Agreement with immediate effect.
Cancelation
Any authorized representative of the Member may cancel the Agreement at any time by submitting a request to [email protected]. After cancellation, the Member will remain liable for past due amounts.
No refunds
Norrsken does not provide refunds upon termination or cancelation of the Agreement with respect to amounts already paid.
Removal and return of property
Upon termination of the Agreement, any physical access tools shall be returned to Norrsken and all of the Member’s property must be removed from Norrsken House at, or before, the last day of the membership period. After providing the Member with a reasonable notice, Norrsken will be entitled to dispose of any property remaining in the Norrsken House, and the Member waives any claims regarding such property or the handling of such property. The Member will be responsible for paying any fees reasonably incurred by Norrsken when the property is removed.
Actions of other members
Norrsken does not control, and is not responsible for, the actions of other members or any other third parties. If a dispute arises between members or their invitees or guests, Norrsken has no responsibility or obligation to participate, mediate or indemnify any party.
Cooperation
From time to time, Norrsken may investigate any actual, alleged or potential violations of the TOU or the House Rules. The Member agrees to cooperate fully in any of these inquiries.
Nature of the membership
The Agreement shall in no way be construed as to grant the Member any lease or related rights in Norrsken House.
Exclusivity
During the term of the Agreement, Norrsken does not grant any exclusive rights to the Member. Thus, the Member acknowledges that Services may be offered to any number of other members or third parties under similar or different terms as set forth in the Agreement.
Transfer and assignment
The Services granted to the Member under the Agreement may not be transferred or assigned to any other entity or person. Entire Agreement and severability of the Agreement, as amended from time to time, constitute the entire agreement between the Member and Norrsken regarding the Services and supersedes any prior communications or agreements. The invalidity or unenforceability of any terms or provision in the Agreement shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other term or provision set out herein.
Liability
Norrsken’s liability. The Member is entitled to compensation for any direct damage due to negligence by Norrsken or any party for which Norrsken is responsible. The Member is not entitled to compensation for indirect damage such as loss of profits or other consequential damages. Norrsken’s total liability for compensation for each claim is limited to a total amount equal to one (1) monthly membership and service fees. The limitations to Norrsken’s liability in accordance with this section do not apply in the event of intent or gross negligence, personal injury or any liability pursuant to mandatory law. The Member’s liability. The Member is wholly responsible for any damage, exceeding normal wear and tear, caused by the Member’s acts or omissions, including the acts or omissions of the Member’s guests or invitees.
Governing law and disputes
The Agreement is governed by Swedish law, without reference to its conflicts of law principles. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with the Membership Agreement, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
Seating
Norrsken House At Norrsken House we believe in creating the most dynamic, efficient and energy sparking work environment. One day is never the same as the other. You might want to sit more relaxed in a comfortable armchair one day, the other day more concentrated in a quiet zone and the third you might spend your whole day in different meeting rooms. Research agrees that the most dynamic way to sit is flexible, which means that you don't own your own desk, but rather you select the best seating for you on that specific day or hour. At Norrsken you will have a variety of flexible seating options for you and your team to work and be creative in the most efficient way.
If you are away for more than 1 hour, please clear the seat from your belongings and once you’re back, you are free to pick any seat that suits you best.
Storage
You have access to one (1) lockable private locker per membership where you can store your belongings. Be mindful of your fellow members and the Norrsken House and make sure to not forget a smelly lunchbox or other disturbing or illegal items in your locker. If Norrsken House is suspecting something like that is left in a locker, we will try to contact you and then open the locker to solve the situation.
Access
Norrsken House is open to all members 24 hours a day, every day. Norrsken House is usually staffed during regular office hours. The digital access provided to you to enter Norrsken House is for your private use only. For the security of the Norrsken House team, its members and guests, the House will be patrolled by guards during evenings and nights and you may be required to present photo id. Do not bring anyone into the office that is not allowed to be there.
Bring guests
Please have your guests register at the reception. When having guests working with you, you should always book a meeting room. Guests are not allowed to sit in the common area without first purchasing a Day Pass. Personal guests (family, friends etc) are welcome to meet you in the café outside the security limits of the coworking space.
Conference rooms
There are bookable meeting rooms. Book rooms using the system provided, book within reason (do not block a room for a long period of time if you do not have a meeting. If you need to work undisturbed, please enjoy the do-not-disturb area. If you need to work closely with a coworker, choose a seat next to each other in the coworking space.
Noise level, disturbances etc.
We are all in the same coworking space trying to make the world a better place. Please be respectful of your fellow members and use common sense. If someone is bothering you, please tell that person before it becomes a problem. If someone is bothered by you, please be open to listening to them and make sure you are contributing to the wonderful atmosphere of the Norrsken House.
Pricing
All companies that apply for a discount are evaluated by the Norrsken team on a set of variables; e.g. the technical solution, the problem they are solving, the integration of impact in the core business model, etc. All memberships are personal.
Kids and dogs
If having your kid in our playroom for the morning or bringing your dog to a meeting in the office helps your day, we welcome that. Like in any other case, show respect to your fellow House members and make sure that for them it’s just another day at the office. Barking dogs or crying babies in the House is not ok.
Joining and ending membership
You can join Norrsken House on the 1st of every month. Your membership is on a month-to-month basis meaning that you can end it before the 15th of every month. Eg. cancel the membership before the 15th of this month to terminate your membership at the end of the current month.
The membership in Norrsken House includes, but is not limited to, access 24 hours/day 365 days/year, coffee and refreshments offered in the House kitchen, printing possibilities to a reasonable limit, access to bookable meeting rooms etc. Additional information can be found in the Norrsken House rules referred to below.
If the Member fails to adhere to the House rules or fails to pay the membership fee in due time, Norrsken may decide to terminate the membership. Upon termination, re-payment of membership fees will not be made.
By signing this Membership agreement, the Member accepts to adhere to the House rules of Norrsken House. The Norrsken House rules are hereby incorporated in these terms. The rules may be revised from time to time and will be published on the Norrsken House website. In general, Norrsken expects that Members will not perform any activity that is reasonably likely to be disruptive, damaging or dangerous to Norrsken, Norrsken employees or agents, other members, any guests or any other third parties or any pets or property of any of the foregoing. Norrsken is not responsible for damages or disappearance of any member property.
The Member may not take, copy or use for any purpose the name “Norrsken” or any of Norrsken’s other business names, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade dress, other identifiers or other intellectual property or modified or altered versions of the same, or take, copy or use for any purpose any pictures or illustrations of any portion of any Norrsken properties, without prior consent from Norrsken.
Upon termination of membership, any physical access tools shall be returned to Norrsken and any member property shall be removed from Norrsken House at, or before, the last day of the membership period.

Stiftelsen Norrsken Foundation (802479-5448) operates the www.norrskenfoundation.org and www.norrskenhouse.org websites, Stockholmsnorrskenet AB (559032-5741), which provides the Norrsken House Membership (Service), as well as Stockholmsnorrskenet Founders Fund AB (559111-7915).
The personal information we collect comes from the voluntary registration to our Service. This collected information is subject to computer processing to enable the provision of services and the management of customers and prospects.
Certain data may be communicated to third parties such as those responsible for the execution, processing or payment of services and orders. But it will be strictly not for commercial use.

Photography
Norrsken Foundation reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event hosted by Norrsken Foundation within Norrsken House, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Norrsken Foundation may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced or used by Norrsken Foundation including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, promotions, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.
A person attending a Norrsken Foundation event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers, and/or contact [email protected], in writing of his/her intentions and include a photograph for identification.
Changes to this privacy policy
